Anh Nguyen, O.D.

Anh Nguyen, O.D. has over 17 years of clinical and optical leadership experience. In her role as VP of Quality Assurance, Dr. Nguyen sets standards and metrics for patient care, develops policies and procedures for all administrative and clinical standards, as well as oversees contracting and credentialing. She actively works with a panel of optometrists within the National Vision network on all QA standards.

Dr. Nguyen also serves as VP of FirstSight Vision Services (FSVS), a wholly owned subsidiary of National Vision. In addition, she has been the Director of Quality Assurance for FSVS since 2005, providing direct oversight of the company’s clinical compliance and specialty health plan administration. Prior to, Dr. Nguyen was the managing optometrist in FSVS’ San Jose clinic for 14 years.

Dr. Nguyen has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of California, Davis and received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from Southern California College of Optometry. Her training included internships at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Tucson, AZ and Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, OK.
