Stephen Borchers, O.D. brings more than 17 years of experience to his role as President of Doctor’s Exchange of Louisiana, P.C. Over the course of his career, he’s built a strong reputation for his clinical decision-making and leadership.

Dr. Borchers graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2007, where he honed the skills and knowledge that he would later apply in the exam room. Prior to earning his Doctor of Optometry degree, he graduated from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a minor in chemistry.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Borchers leads an active life in Slidell, LA with his wife and two children. His family enjoys traveling and experiencing the outdoors together on a regular basis.
