Rhett Veater, O.D. is the President of Doctor’s Exchange of Idaho, P.C. He also serves as the Area Doctor of all offices affiliated with America’s Best locations in Idaho and Utah, acting as a liaison between the Practices and National Vision, Inc.

He received the 2016 Doctor of the Year award for his Practice for his service and dedication to his doctors and patients. Dr. Veater provides strategic leadership and exemplifies quality care for all patients and staff. As President, he plays an important role in mentoring, leading and supporting doctors who are part of this practice.

Dr. Veater was a recipient of the Army Health Professions Scholarship and began his Army service upon graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry. He was deployed to Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and awarded the Army Achievement Medal and two Army Commendation Medals for his service.

After completing his active duty service, he returned to his home state of Utah. When he’s not at work, Dr. Veater enjoys quality time with his family, working out at the gym and spending time outdoors.
